Objectives of the Role
The Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between business and operational functions, driving business-wide efficiency through process optimisation and streamlining, data management, and technology enablement for improved operational outcomes.
This role focuses on analysing financial, operational, and system data to identify performance trends, optimise workflows, and enable scalable, technology-driven solutions through AI integration, automation, and the effective utilisation of available platforms to enhance operational outcomes and support digital transformation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, senior stakeholders, and operational leaders to translate complex data into clear insights, business cases, and actionable recommendations.
1. Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimisation & Business Efficiency
- Analyse and evaluate current workflows and operational processes across all business functions.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and duplication of effort and design improved processes that strengthen the control environment, reporting accuracy and scalability.
- Design and implement streamlined, technology-enabled standardised processes aligned with best practises to improve operational performance.
- Drive the transition from manual workflows to automated, system-integrated processes.
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, investments, and system enhancements.
- Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for risk mitigation and profit optimization.
Data Analysis & Performance Insights
- Develop actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop and maintain fit-for-business commercial models, dashboards, and management reports.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks across business units.
- Ensure alignment between data insights and business objectives.
AI & Technology Integration
- Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Evaluate and deploy advanced tools (current and emerging) to optimise workflows and data utilisation.
- Support integration of advanced ICT tools (ERP and CRM systems, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Data platforms and analytics environments).
- Promote adoption of new technologies across the business.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies and continuous improvement.
Data Management & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all business platforms and systems.
- Assemble and summarise Customer and Supplier data into structured reports to assess the financial status and associated risks, to facilitate decisions and actions required by the company.
- Define data ownership, standards, and validation processes.
- Implement data validation processes and controls.
- Define and enforce data governance standards.
- Improve accessibility and usability of business data for stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central liaison across all departments (Commercial, Solutions, Technical and Engineering).
- Facilitate workshops to scope requirements, challenges, and solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured deliverables and objectives.
- Work within the organisation’s technical framework to ensure alignment with systems and architecture.
Documentation & Process Design
- Develop and implement detailed operational manual, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), workflows, etc.
- Compile detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Map processes and workflows using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and accessible supporting system implementation and ongoing operations.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Engage executives, operational and technical teams, and business users to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Present and motivate , findings, and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of new systems, tools, and processes.
- Support digital transformation and organisational change initiatives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms. Collaboration between all teams.
- Facilitating Stakeholder scoping meetings and output management.
- Provide training and support (mentoring) to ensure adoption of new processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Stay up to date with business best practices in automation, AI adoption, and business intelligence.
- Ability to proficiently engage with all levels of staff, including executive management and external third parties.

3. Necessary Skills / Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven work experience in , business analysis, process improvement, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related discipline.
- Experience within the ICT/Telecommunications Industry is advantageous.
- Experience working in group or multi-entity environments is advantageous.
- Experience working across multiple business functions.
- Exposure to technology-enabled or data-driven organisations.
- Proven track record of business process automation and automation projects.
- Advanced experience with business optimisation, AI, process mapping and data analytics tools.
